In the interests of better protecting our client’s personal information and in saving time & paper, Quantum Partners has recently implemented DocuSign, a software solution to support instant sign-off on documents requiring your signature.
Initially we intend to use this for Electronic Lodgement Declarations (ELD) for individual income tax returns. This is planned to commence from next week.
Eventually we will roll this out for other documents like financials reports and minutes/resolutions.
If you have a company in which we act as your registered office the process of signing solvency resolutions and other ASIC forms to implement changes will also be streamlined and more convenient.
A key component of this is to ensure we have a valid email address for our clients. Unless you have already indicated otherwise future documentation requiring your signature will be sent to the email address in which you are receiving this newsletter.

DocuSign is fast and reliable and allows us to expedite the task of obtaining your signature in a seamless and efficient way. You can sign documents in a matter of seconds either on your desktop or mobile phone and a copy of the executed documents will be emailed to you in full immediately afterwards for your own records.
Electronically signed documents are legally binding, safe and secure. Importantly, it saves you time by not having to print and hand-sign, then scan or post your documents to us.
Each DocuSign email you receive from us will contain clear, easy to follow instructions on how to electronically sign embedded documents.
Electronically signed documents are received by us instantly for lodgement with the Australian Taxation Office. Similarly, relevant forms are lodged with ASIC immediately. In all cases, you will receive a copy of all electronically signed documents for your records.
