Now, it\u2019s based on <\/span><b>the lower of CPI or the Wage Price Index<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This change applies to all <\/span><b>HELP, VET Student Loans, Australian Apprenticeship Support Loans, and other study or training loan accounts<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with adjustments backdated to <\/span><b>1 June 2023<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>What does this mean for you?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The revised indexation rates are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>3.2% for 1 June 2023<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (down from 7.1%)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>4% for 1 June 2024<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (down from 4.7%)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If your study loan was indexed on these dates, <\/span><b>you don\u2019t need to do anything<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014the adjustments will be handled automatically.
